🧗 Area-by-Area Walkthrough

The map is a single continuous tower scaling to the edge of the atmosphere. Here are the core level thresholds:

  • Phase 1

    The Slums (0m - 120m)

Constructed from scrap metal sheets, wooden pallets, and rickety spiral fire escapes. Focus on simple jumps. Ideal for warming up.

  • Phase 2

    The Pipe Labyrinth (120m - 250m)

Slippery utility pipes of varying diameters. You will face vertical slides and narrow balances. Look down directly to verify your shadow alignment before dropping.

  • Phase 3

    The Floating Vehicle Grid (250m - 400m)

Floating yellow cabs, city buses, and long train cargo beds. Be careful of gaps between vehicles; use sprint-jumps here to traverse safely.

  • Phase 4

    The Space Frontier (400m - 500m+)

Extremely surreal platform sequences. Features anti-gravity elevators, rotating platforms, and zero friction surfaces. This is where Only Up Part 2 peaks in difficulty!

⚡ Top 4 Speedrun Shortcuts & Skip Routes

If you don't want to spend 3 hours climbing, you can use these shortcuts to skip entire sections of the map. Speedrunners use these tricks to beat the game in under 15 minutes:

01

The Slums Bed Skip

Right at the start of the slums, ignore the spiral staircase. Climb to the small corrugated rooftop on the left and sprint-jump onto the green bed. You will bounce straight past the first 50 meters of the slums, landing on a metal platform near the pipes.

02

The Green Pipe Slide

When entering the Pipe Labyrinth, look for the long slanted green pipe. Jump onto its crest, slide down to build velocity, and sprint-jump off the very end. You can fly past the train container puzzle and land directly on the cab sequence.

03

The Cab-to-Bus Vault

In the Floating Vehicles section, jump onto the yellow taxi cab, but do not walk down the train tracks. Face the bus floating to the upper left. A sprint-vault off the hood of the taxi will get you enough height to grab the bus bumper, skipping 3 complex jumps.

04

Space Elevator Jump

Just before the gravity gates, you'll see a rotating glass cylinder. Do not wait for its slow rotation. Run along the outer rim, sprint off the peak, and angle your body to land directly on the final space elevator rail.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is Only Up! Online free to play?

Yes! This micro-site offers both Only Up! Part 1 and Only Up! Part 2 fully unblocked and free to play in your web browser. There are no downloads, sign-ups, or subscriptions required.

Can I save my progress in Only Up?

The HTML5 browser version does not support manual saving. This mimics the hardcore design of the original PC game, where the goal is to complete the climb in a single, uninterrupted run. If you fall, you must climb back up.

What is the difference between Only Up 1 and Only Up 2?

Only Up 1 focuses on the classic tower progression, featuring urban slums and industrial pipes. Only Up 2 features more challenging floating structures, more vertical paths, and specialized fantasy space themes reaching heights up to 500 meters.

How does the Fullscreen button help?

Because parkour games require fine camera adjustments, playing in windowed mode can cause your mouse to slide outside the game area. Clicking the "Immersive Fullscreen" button locks your mouse pointer inside the WebGL canvas, giving you 360-degree control without distraction.
